In your Ringotel admin portal, you have the ability to control the maximum number of parallel devices a user can log into. This feature is useful for organisations that want to limit the number of devices a user can use at one time.
The maximum number of parallel devices per user is determined by the organization's package. By default, Essentials users can register on up to 3 parallel devices, while PRO users can register on up to 6 devices at the same time. However, as an admin, you have the option to further limit the number of devices per user in the connection settings.
Changing the Maximum Number of Parallel Devices per User
To change the maximum number of parallel devices per user, follow these steps:
In your Ringotel portal, navigate to an organisation → Connection settings → “App settings” section.
Change the “Max. registrations per user“ option.
Then click the “Save changes” button to update the configuration.
Once you have saved the changes, the maximum number of parallel devices per user will be updated. This means that users will only be able to log into the specified number of devices at one time.
It's important to note that this setting applies to all users within the connection. If you want to have different limits for different users, you can create separate connections with different settings.
