I have an issue with receiving calls. I'm seeing a SIP 403 Forbidden with Warning: 399 Ringotel Shell Server Call Rejected.

Incorrect IP Address

The most common cause of rejected calls is when the IP address of the incoming call does not match the one specified in your Ringotel connection settings.

To fix this issue, you will need to ensure that the correct server IP address or Domain is configured in your Ringotel connection settings.

Cluster Environments

If you are using Ringotel in a cluster environment, you will need to take an additional step to ensure that calls are authorized from all IPs within your cluster. This can be done by configuring your DNS server to return multiple IP addresses for the domain specified in your connection settings.

This will allow Ringotel to authorize invites from all IPs within your cluster, ensuring that calls are not rejected due to an incorrect IP address.

Still Experiencing Issues?

If you have updated your server IP address or Domain and are still experiencing issues with rejected calls, it may be helpful to reach out to Ringotel support for further assistance.
